I agree with the Google translation of the first reviewer's comments, except the description of the staff as whiny and rude.||||We (two couples) visited Turek for a week to see family. On booking the hotel we were informed that my sister who is on crutches awaiting a replacement knee could have a ground floor room as the hotel has no lift. When we arrived we found that all rooms were upstairs and were given adjoining rooms on the second floor. She had so much trouble going up the dark flights of steps, that she and her husband left after one night.||||We stuck it out for the seven days, during which we had the same bed sheets. We didn't feel comfortable in the room. So many things were annoying; the loud creaking of the bed, the disgusting bathroom mats, the poor lighting, the depressing wallpaper, some lights not working, no air-conditioning, the noise either from outside or neighbouring rooms. If you returned to the hotel after 10 p.m. the place was in darkness and you had to ring a bell and wait for the nightwatchman to come and let you in. Some nights he even put the stair lights on.||||The few staff we did see were OK, though when we ready for leaving and went to pay, they had to ring someone to bring a debit card machine and said it would be along in half an hour. So we had to visit the Bankomat down the street.||||OK, Turek is not a holiday destination, and what we paid was about £28 per night, but we did expect better.
